The player will have to try on the role of one of the gang members – Arthur Morgan. This character is a true anti-hero, who, at the same time, never tolerates injustice.

The Living World

The first thing that will surprise you in the game. In Red Dead Redemption 2 the world is really alive. There are no strange NPCs that stand still and wait for the hero. All the characters live their own lives. They have their worries and concerns, they go to the saloons, work and rest. Sometimes this just makes you want to follow a person and find out what they do and how they spend their day.

Missions and side quests

In addition to exploring the world of Red Dead Redemption 2, there are various missions to be completed. Every quest in the game is a real mini-story with fascinating plot and climax. At the same time, you can go through the missions in different ways, but the game will remember the character’s choice and then show you where it led to.

Throughout the game the hero is helped by his horse. But it is not a simple object of movement. The horse needs care, feeding and cleaning. The animal often behaves like a real animal – it gets frightened, behaves wilfully and learns new tricks. The character himself also behaves realistically. He, like all humans, needs sleep and food. The easiest way to do it is in the camp.

Hunting in Red Dead Redemption 2

This game has one more interesting feature. Yes, in Red Dead Redemption 2 you will be able to go hunting. There are more than 200 species of animals in this world, and they all are very smart. You will not be able to walk up to the beast and catch it. The animals can hear and smell Arthur. You’ll have to hunt a lot harder than you think to become a true hunter.

You should also consider that some animals require bait to catch them and that using a certain weapon will ruin the hide. You should therefore most often hunt with a bow. But on bears and alligators you will have to go with something more serious, because they can kill the hero if he will hesitate. Anyway hunting is really exciting action that can take you away for hours.

In the end, Red Dead Redemption 2 is really the game you can’t criticize. Yes, some things seem strange at first sight, but then you get used to them and get used to the game. And after Red Dead Redemption 2 all the other games seem to be not good enough and you don’t want to play them.
